My Background
I'm Lee Bladon, a holistic psychological therapist based in Grantham, Lincolnshire. I've been working with people on deep emotional healing, personal growth and wellbeing since 2018, and have trained extensively across a wide range of approaches over more than 15 years.
My own journey started in 2000. I had what looked like a successful life from the outside, but I was quietly struggling - chronic anxiety, a sense of flatness, a feeling that something important was missing. Over the next decade I read voraciously in psychology, spirituality, and consciousness - and learnt a great deal. But the knowledge alone didn't change how I felt. The real shift came when I stopped thinking about my problems and started feeling into them: moving from my head into my heart and body. That's when things began to genuinely transform.
That experience shaped my life profoundly and changed my entire life-path. It taught me that real, lasting change requires working with the whole person - not just the mind, but the body and nervous system too. It influenced every aspect of my training and practice in the years that followed.
When I experienced NESA therapy for myself, I immediately felt its healing, balancing and restorative effects. It was unlike anything I'd experienced in two decades of exploring therapeutic and healing approaches. That personal experience made me want to train as a NESA practitioner, and once I did, combining it with my existing somatic and psychological work was an obvious step. Neuro-Somatic Therapy is the culmination of everything I've learnt across my many years of training and practice, and the most powerful integrated approach I've ever worked with.
My Therapeutic Approach
My work draws on a carefully integrated blend of approaches, all chosen because of their effectiveness with deep, chronic, hard-to-shift difficulties:
- Somatic Inquiry: Working with the body as the primary vehicle for healing, accessing information and patterns that the mind can't reach on its own.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS): A parts-based approach that helps identify and work with the different internal "parts" driving reactivity, self-criticism, anxiety, and emotional pain.
- The InCorr Method: A trauma-informed, body-centred approach that helps identify and heal emotional issues at their root, rather than managing symptoms at the surface.
- Inner Child Healing: Connecting with and nurturing the wounded younger parts of ourselves to restore inner safety and heal early emotional patterns.
- The Enneagram: A rich psychospiritual framework that illuminates how we lost touch with our true nature, and how we can find our way back to it.
- Nondual Presence: A quality of embodied awareness and unity that I bring into every session that creates the conditions for deeper healing and insight to emerge naturally.
- Transpersonal Therapy: Working not just with psychological patterns, but with the wider dimensions of consciousness: identity, meaning, spiritual experience, and the relationship between our personal self and something larger.
I've also developed a strong empathic sensitivity over many years of practice, which allows me to sense what's happening within my clients - somatically, energetically and emotionally - and work with what's unfolding in each moment rather than following a fixed protocol.

Who I Work With
I work with self-aware individuals who are ready for something that goes deeper than symptom management. My clients are often people who've tried various approaches - counselling, CBT, medication, wellness practices - and found that while they've helped somewhat, something persistent remains. They're not looking for a quick fix. They want to understand what's really going on, and to work with it at the root level.
For NESA therapy specifically, I work with people experiencing insomnia, stress and anxiety, chronic fatigue (including ME/CFS and long COVID), chronic pain, burnout, and general health and wellbeing concerns - particularly those with a psychological or nervous system component.
I see clients in person in Grantham (easy access from the A1), and offer video consultations via Zoom for anyone who'd like to discuss whether NESA therapy, psychological therapy, or Neuro-Somatic Therapy might be right for them.
