FREE Nervous System Development Programme

Hi, I'm Lee Bladon, an integrative and somatic therapist. Over the years, I've seen how much suffering can come from patterns people don't understand, and how many people can't afford the 1-to-1 support that might help.

So I've brought together what I've learnt through my training, my client work and my own experience of the nervous system, emotional patterns, awareness and embodied change, and turned it into a complete programme that anyone can access for free.

It's called Neurosomatic Awareness, and it's free because I want it to reach as many people as possible. It isn't a taster or a cut-down version. It's the whole thing, and it's my gift to you.

The programme contains 35 bite-sized video lessons and 10 supporting guided audios. It's experiential as well as educational, so you'll get the most from it by taking your time and working through it slowly.

What becomes possible

This isn't about trying to control how you feel or pushing difficult feelings away. Your feelings are an important way your body communicates with you, and learning to listen to them, rather than dismiss them, can open up a different way of responding to what you're experiencing. As you work through the programme, you may find you:

  • Recognise what state you're in, and notice the shift sooner, whether you're becoming overwhelmed or starting to shut down.
  • Catch old patterns as they start, giving yourself a moment of choice before they take over.
  • Feel more present and alive, more connected to your body, your feelings and the people around you.
  • Meet yourself with more understanding, instead of seeing yourself as the problem.
  • Have practical ways to respond, through guided practices you can return to whenever you need them.

Change like this tends to build gradually, through small moments of noticing. That's why the programme is designed to be taken slowly.

The Neurosoma approach

Neurosoma rests on three things working together: awareness of what's actually happening in you, embodiment so that awareness isn't just an idea but something you actually feel, and presence — meeting what's happening now rather than reacting from what happened then.

Awareness helps you recognise what's happening. Embodiment brings that awareness into your actual experience — your body, emotions, sensations and impulses. Presence gives you the space to meet what's happening now, rather than automatically responding from old patterns and expectations. Together, these are the foundation for a different way of understanding yourself — not by analysing yourself endlessly, but by becoming increasingly aware of what's happening within you as it happens.

What you'll explore

This isn't simply a collection of techniques for feeling better in the moment. It's a genuinely big field: your nervous system, your patterns, your emotions, your relationships, your beliefs, and underneath all of it, your authentic self. Neurosoma is about seeing how these different parts of your experience connect.

You'll learn to read your nervous system's signals and understand the states it moves through, using the innovative Nervous System Map as a visual framework for making sense of your experience. You'll trace how patterns formed and how experiences from the past can still shape how you think, feel and behave today, and explore your emotions, relationships and the ways you've learned to cope and protect yourself. Along the way, you'll start looking beneath the patterns themselves towards what's actually driving them.

The Nervous System Map brings the different states your nervous system moves through together in a way that's easy to see and understand. Rather than trying to remember lots of separate concepts, it gives you a way to see the bigger picture and recognise where you are within it. You'll encounter it early in Neurosomatic Awareness, alongside other visual resources that make the ideas easier to understand.

And ultimately, it all points beyond the patterns. Beneath everything you've learned to become is your authentic self, something more fundamental that was never lost, only obscured. The aim isn't to build a new version of you; it's to rediscover what was already there, beneath all the conditioning.

It takes more than a single programme to do that justice, which is exactly why I'm building Neurosoma as an ongoing body of work rather than a single offering.

Where it starts

The first step into Neurosoma is Neurosomatic Awareness — a comprehensive, completely free programme of 35 lessons and around 7 hours of teaching, supported by 10 guided audios and reference documents.

Rather than giving you a handful of techniques and sending you on your way, the programme gives you the opportunity to spend some real time exploring yourself. You'll learn to recognise your nervous system states, become more aware of what's happening in your body, understand your patterns and where they came from, explore your emotions and relationships, and begin to uncover the deeper beliefs and experiences that shape the way you meet life.

The programme is designed as a journey of self-discovery and awareness. You don't need to arrive with any particular knowledge or experience. Everything is explained from the ground up, with practical exercises, guided practices, visual resources and the Nervous System Map helping you make sense of what you're discovering.

And because awareness develops through experience rather than simply understanding an idea once, you're encouraged to take your time with it. Learn something, practise it, notice what happens, and then come back to explore the next layer. The programme isn't something you simply complete; it's something you can begin to live.

It gives you a genuine foundation in the Neurosoma approach, but it's only the beginning. Neurosomatic Awareness is where you start, not where this ends.

FREE Neurosomatic Awareness Programme

The Neurosomatic Awareness programme costs absolutely nothing. This isn't a taster or a shortened version of something bigger — it's the whole programme , freely available. You don't even have to provide your name or email address to access it.

It's my way of giving something back: sharing what I've spent years learning and developing, and making the foundations of Neurosoma accessible to anyone who wants to understand themselves more deeply, without cost being a barrier to getting started.

If it helps you, I'd love for you to pass it on to someone who might need it too. That's really the whole point of this site.

What's next?

Neurosoma will keep growing over the coming months, with new programmes exploring different parts of this same approach in greater depth. Some will go further into the nervous system, others into emotional healing, relationships or the deeper work of coming home to your authentic self.

They'll all share the same foundation: awareness, embodiment and presence — a growing body of work built to help you understand yourself more deeply and become increasingly free to meet life as it actually is.

Frequently asked questions about Neurosoma
What is Neurosoma?

Neurosoma is a nervous system education platform I created to help people understand themselves in a different way, through the body, not just the mind. The core idea is that nothing in you is broken, whatever you're carrying has simply become obscured over time, and the work is about awareness rather than fixing yourself. It's built around the free Neurosomatic Awareness programme, with more on the way, all grounded in the same underlying philosophy.

How does nervous system regulation differ from re-calibration?

Nervous system regulation is the process of helping your autonomic nervous system move out of stress and survival states and return to a more regulated state — where you can feel calmer, more connected and more present. It’s about learning to settle your stress response in the moment.

Nervous system recalibration goes a layer deeper. It involves gradually updating the patterns your nervous system developed earlier in life, when your capacity to cope was much smaller, so they become more aligned with your capacity now. Over time, this can make it easier to return to a state of calm, connection and presence — and easier to stay there.

What is Neurosomatic Awareness?

Neurosomatic Awareness is the first programme within Neurosoma. It's a comprehensive 35-lesson programme (each 8 to 18 minis) that takes you on a journey of self-discovery and awareness, exploring your nervous system, patterns, emotions, relationships and the deeper experiences that shape them. It includes guided audios and supporting reference materials.

Is the Neurosomatic Awareness programme really free?

Yes, completely. There's no catch, no upsell buried in module ten, and no credit card needed to sign up. I built this because I wanted as many people as possible to have access to this work, not just those who can afford 1-to-1 sessions. If you find it useful, the best thing you can do is pass it on to someone else who might need it.

Do I need any experience with nervous system work to start?

None at all. The programme is built for complete beginners. Each module builds on the last, starting with the basics of what your nervous system is actually doing and working up from there. If you've never heard of terms like "nervous system regulation" before, you're exactly who this was made for.

Is this a replacement for therapy?

No. This website is educational, it's here to help you understand your nervous system and build a more embodied sense of awareness in daily life. It isn't a substitute for therapy or treatment for a diagnosed condition. If you're working through something more significant, it's worth doing alongside professional support rather than instead of it.
